Chris Southwell is 28 years old and started snowboarding at the age of 8. He was educated at Farleigh followed by Milton Abbey School. He enjoys and participates in other sports. His skills include football, cricket and hockey for which he was in the X1 for all teams.
Being lucky enough to spend a minimum of eight weeks a year in the Alps with support from the school he managed to enter many European competitions. In 2000 he the British Slalom Champion. Whilst he has achieved this position his true love is with Freeride snowboarding and his results include 3rd at the Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships in 2008 and this season Chris came 6th at the World Freeride Tour Quest Event in Austria and 2nd at the Scott Freeride Championships. He is currently ranked 30th in the World, the highest ranked Brit. When not competing he is never seen far from a camera, apart from magazine coverage his film credits include Wintermission, Show Offs, White World, The Journal and Ski City. He has also appeared on many occasions on television interview for Sky Sports, Extreme Sports Channel, ITV and the BBC. As well as this Chris has had a number of front covers on various media magazines.

NICK SOUTHWELL, is 25 and started skiing at the age of 4. Educated at Farleigh and then Sherborne and was a top sportsman he was regularly seen in the X1 teams for hockey and cricket.
Nick has been a professional skier for five years and specializes in the Freeride aspect of the sport, he is very well respected amongst the top skiers not only in Europe but also on the world tour. Apart from competing during the winters in Europe, Nick also spends the summers on the snow training, coaching and filming in Iceland, South America or on the glaciers in Europe. In 2005 Nick was 4th overall at the British Championships in Laax and 2nd in the Playstation Air Games.
Last season he was the top British Freerider on the World Tour in the Verbier Ride and the North Face Freeride in Les Arcs and also finished 25th in the World Tour finals which is the highest ever placing by a British Rider. Nick has enjoyed some extensive media coverage over the last five seasons including four front covers, magazine, radio and television interviews for Eurosport and other cable channels and he was also filmed for the British Freeski movie "8", "Snows in the House 3", "The Journal" and "Ski City"
