FORMAT OF THE LECTURE

The lecture will last for approximately 50 minutes and then we allow extra time for questions at the end, which has proved very popular!

The talk is based on the following structure:

Introduction of ourselves
A slide show of action pictures - mixed with music and lasting about 4 mins
Intro into the world of skiing and snowboarding and explaining about the different aspects of the sports
What is being a pro skier/snowboarder all about
We will show an 8 minute movie of the latest extreme filming of us in action (put to music)
Hints/tips about following in our footsteps (info about dry slopes, various grass root competitions etc)
A display of our kit including boards, skis, clothes and goggles
Opportunity for the kids to try on some of our outfits
Safety talk about avalanches and other dangers on the mountain. (Chris is diabetic so he will talk about how he over comes his diabetes whilst riding).
Show a very spectacular fall on DVD to highlight the points we made about safety
Future skiing/snowboarding projects that we are working on

Short promo of our latest movie.
The talk will end with question time!

FURTHER INFORMATION

The fee for the lecture is 300 plus travel expenses.

The school will be asked to provide a large screen, sound system and a projector for the slide show and DVDs
An action poster of Chris and Nick will be provided to advertise the lecture.
The talks can be booked any time (subject to availability) during the Autumn term or Summer term.
